I’m Kunal, a Bay Area automotive photographer drawn to cars with a story behind them. That can be a perfectly displayed Mercedes at the dealership, a classic with years of wear, or something unexpected at a car meet.

I started shooting at 18 and have always been pulled toward the challenge of making a place feel as real in a photo as it did in person. With cars, that means working with hard sun, reflections, metallic paint, carbon fiber, and whatever the space gives me, including shop floors.

Automotive is where my energy is now, especially the European performance, restoration, and specialist-shop world around the Bay Area. I enjoy making work that feels clean and considered without making the car feel sterile or overproduced.

Outside of automotive, I still photograph the places that got me started: coastlines, mountain roads, cities, and travel across my home and the world.
